Poor breakfast , very slow service - had to request veggie breakfast . Not good value. Scaffolding obscuring light and view.

Loved the ambience, the extras in the room , the comfort. Beautiful food.

Very central location. Amazing building with loads of Manchester character. Even though it has a central location the room was very quiet. Room spacious and really nicely furnished with a great bed, high ceilings and massive windows which felt very luxurious.

Quite pricey for an overnight but I guess you get what you pay for. A small thing that was a bit annoying was the regulations that come With big hotels, ID requirements, needing to leave your credit card details with reception even though it’s all paid up etc.

Beautiful building, very helpful staff. The free drink for Saturday social hour is a great idea. The location was good for us.

We were in a room at the front of the hotel and you could hear the noise from the pubs until about 1pm. The room was also cold even though we tried to increase the heating.

Loved the property and location and near train stations for access. Very nice and comfortable! The lobby smelled so good! Wondering if we had some ghost activity, that added to the overall experience for the best!

Spotlessly clean. Warm welcome. Free drink on arrival plus out room was upgrades. Everything you needed was in the room including a yoga mat, dressing gowns, slippers ect. Beautiful room.

The staff were friendly and hospitable. The room was spacious and clean. They greeted us upon arrival with ‘good luck’ wishes for our event. So much charm to the building and room.

Our room seemed to be near enough to the street that we could hear when people were walking around late at night or louder cars, however the hotel had ear plugs when we asked and were accommodating.

The building is absolutely fabulous. Great location with a lively bar and great atmosphere. Room was very comfortable and perfect for our needs.

The breakfast was lovely and offered a very good selection of options. Additionally, the staff were friendly and took great care of us. I had requested a twin room for my son and me, and we were pleased to find that we each had a double bed. The beds were very comfortable and ensured a great night's sleep.

Unfortunately, the occupants in the neighboring room were quite noisy during my stay, which impacted my experience. I wanted to bring this to your attention so it can be addressed for future guests.

Friendly and professional atmosphere, exclusive ambient and excelente food right in the city center near the railway station.

I loved the traditional architecture and staff were so accommodating with every need. The room was lovely and had a wonderful view which didn’t hurt! Breakfast was lovely with a vast variety of options and exceptional service. It also had a games area which was a fun way to relax after a long day. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Oxford Road Station and roughly a 15 minute walk to city centre, which was convenient for us as we were planning to walk through the city and this was a great way to do that. It’s a great location if you want somewhere that can help you explore the city and get a feel for Manchester. Would definitely recommend to stay and hope you have a wonderful experience!!

Wonderfully furnished and spotlessly clean, the staff are very attentive. We ate at the restaurant which was delicious one evening

The bed was uncomfortable so unfortunately didn’t have a great sleep

Really comfy bed, one of the best I've slept in - had the best nights sleep in a hotel for a long time. Large bedroom, good location. Breakfast had some solid choices and very enjoyable.

Layout of the hotel was confusing much like a maze with quite a lot of walking from the lift and easy to get lost or in the wrong lift. Better directions would help.

The room size was great-lovely high ceilings. Staff were very friendly-thank you for the complimentary water when we left! The car parking was really good value for money. We didn’t have breakfast with you-but will next time!

The location is perfect for the train station and the Palace Theatre, the hotel itself is very impressive.
