Nice staff, the bar at the underground, the friendly people and also the vibe there.

The beds were a little bit uncomfortable for me.

- following hygiene guidelines, metal beds, sealed mattresses, white sheets that you have to put yourself, I was not worried about bed bugs - USB charging port - lockers, no need to bring your own lock - comfortable beds, great kitchen and garden with table, pub downstairs

- you have to pay extra if you want a towel - uncomfortable to carry your bedsheets to reception upon departure - female only rooms are more expensive

Everything! The location is spot on! The facilities are outstanding! The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Difficult to make the bed in this type of bunkbeds. And there is a lot of noice due to the public transport

Honestly had a really great experience. The place was clean, well set up, and had a nice vibe for solo and group travellers Hammad at reception super friendly and made everything easy from the start. Also Hassan was really helpful throughout my stay, always around when needed and very approachable. Overall, felt very comfortable staying here. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting London 👍

I really appreciate the hostel facilities, which include individual lockers, a guest canteen, a laundry room, and a welcoming ground-floor living area that is both pleasant and fun.

After staying here, now I *get* it.

The hostel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, with secure lockers available for storing personal belongings. One of the highlights of my stay was the shared kitchen, which is really wonderful. It’s spacious, well-equipped, and kept very clean, making it easy to cook your own meals and save money. It also creates a nice opportunity to interact with other guests in a relaxed environment. Another great feature is the common area and bar downstairs, which is perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The atmosphere is social but not overwhelming. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to give recommendations or assist with any questions.

I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. Considering the price of £8.50, I expected a wider variety of options, including items like croissants or other fresh pastries. While it was decent, it didn’t quite match the value for money.

Enjoyed my stay so much first time in Portugal and this is a classic place full of good vibes. You will definitely have the option to do pub crawls which I did partake in and had a lot of fun going throughout Portugal but there is a real homey cozy vibe and you can take tours with local Portuguese throughout the day come back to a great location and just chill with quality staff and guest. For me Gui, Vane, and Rosi were particularly helpful and made my stay feel effortless and what vacation should be. Happy to see Lisbon for the first time here it was a good week.

Less than 10 minutes walk from Brick Lane, Aldgate East tube and Tower Gateway DLR stations. It's next to the Jack the Ripper Museum and near a Sainsbury local. Love the bar/kitchen/lounge area in the basement. Room for 6 has adjoining bathroom/toilet. Each bed has a curtain and electronic locker.

Not the most convenient location but it's not too bad. There are still quite a bit of dining nearby. The nearby Sainsbury local helps a lot. The locker is activated by the key card, so being careful with the key card, especially while asleep or showering, etc, is important.

It was my very first time staying at a hostel and it just exceeded all my expectations, I met some amazing people there, the underground bar is incredible! You will meet so many people, BOOK THIS if you like to make new friends. Damn I even made friends during breakfast lol. My female roommate was perfectly fine, comfortable and quiet, bathroom was always clean. Totally recommend!

The location is good but still is kinda far from the main tourist area (beside Tower Bridge); the location isn’t bad, problem is the metro closes really early so no easy way to get back to the hostel at night.

You make many friends! They have so many places where you can sit down and chat with other people. The hostel itself looks really nice and is clean.

You only have a bathroom in your room, there are no showers in the hallways.

Great place for meeting people, busy but still had space, lots of facilities, good lockers, staff are really nice, I’ll be back soon for sure!

I liked everything, from the smooth and sensible check-in, to the Room and (new/renovated) bathroom & shower, and the large and well equipped kitchen (with new tools) and the very relaxing atmosphere in the small cafe downstairs and the very nice staff. Location wise, it is not super close to train, but it is only 7-8min walk, and there is a very nice store with fresh fruits/food to buy in reasonable prices on your way there. Area was relatively quiet, more safe and calm than most places in a large capital. Even the stairs to get you to/from upper floors (if you are into exercising instead of elevator) were pretty easy and large. Building is in good condition overall.

Nothing seriously comes to mind, but if I had to think hard of something I'd like different, that could be the coffee mugs you were served the Americano at the cafe downstairs - it could be a little larger indeed. That's all.

Ventilation for every bed, personal safe, a locker activated by keycard included in the price, nice shelf for things above the bed with a charging port. It was everything I needed. Bathrooms are modern and new.

Took a bit of time to make the bed since you have to put on the sheets on the matress and the sleeve for the blanket and pillow.

Convenient location. Walking distance to many places. Clean. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Safe place to stay. This was my 3rd time staying there. Love it.

Literally 7 minutes walk to Tower Hill station and about 20 minutes to London Bridge station ( the view of the bridge is stunning btw ) within minutes walking to few popular spots and also really good places with the view bars and restaurants. We have stayed in female dorm, felt safe . Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is big with everything you could find for eating and cooking as some fee stuff on a fridge shelf’s lol

I would not say “I didn’t like it “ but as a friendly advice for those who might find helpful : our dorm was located at the garden downstairs with Windows facing kitchen garden and it was pretty loud at evening time so just as a precaution if you do do stay there just get yourself noise cancellation headphones or earplugs 🤗

Bar was cool, plenty of laundry, great vibe. The cafe was nice and the beds were comfy.

As a female solo traveler it was about a ten minute walk in the dark with not much around to get here from the tower station.

I had to wait many hours for a friend overnight so i decided to book this as it was cheap. It felt really safe no one was allowed in who wasn't staying there. The staff were really friendly & i felt so comfortable to sit by reception/coffee area alone, it was a really nice area. I went to the bar alone as aswell & it was a really nice atmosphere & again felt really safe as it was only people staying there allowed in. I didn't use the bed to be honest as I only was waiting for my friend till the early hours so can't comment on rooms. But for the facilities & the safety of the place what a bargain for £55

Everything all right. Very safe, clean, big rooms and great staff service. I enjoyed the downstairs lobby, the music , the atmosphere. If you are planning to stay for a night it's a perfect choice.

They charge for towel and you have to bring your own soap. I think they should rise up the accomodation costs and include these hygiene stuff

Breakfast, Bed and cleanliness..

Staff were not all cooperative specially check in time had to wait 5 hours to check in neither they had the option of keeping the luggage or locker for free during this wait..As i paid for my breakfast they dont give me the slip on first day hence i missed neither allowed to use the ticket on another day by packing one extra..Also Found my locker is open twice during my stay after returning at night.

The hostel was very clean & the bed was comfortable, in a great location to see Tower of London & catch the tube to the rest of the attractions.

The only downside was that the shower and toilet were in the same bathroom in my room, which sometimes meant waiting 30+ minutes to use it. However, there are toilets downstairs in the lobby, which I ended up using quite frequently.

very pleasant for a hostel... location, curtains on bunks, lockers with locks, all female rooms, enough charging outlets in the bunk, pleasant lobby and extra lockers for early arrival if necessary.

I would like more hooks in the bunk to hang extra belongings. It makes it easier, especially when in the upper bunk.

Beds and rooms are very well equipped. Fans installed for each individual bed which was needed even in March. Bathrooms are huge. Separate vanity sink in room for brushing teeth/getting ready. Beds are actually a real single bed size. Rooms are spacious. WiFi was strong. Always hot water. It's a hotel basically. Just sharing it with some others. Best hostel. I didn't use the communal areas like the bar/guest kitchen/cafe. But it's basically hub with everything you need.

The guest kitchen was quite dirty when I popped in for water at 6am. And our bedroom wasn't hoovered I don't think. Floor made my socks dirty. But that's quite picky!!

Location is quite far from St Pancras and I prefer walking everywhere, but that's just me and I've seen lots because of that

It was a very good hostel! The staff were all very nice and friendly. The facilities were super clean. The breakfast included was great and had so many options! And the bar downstairs was really cool too. Also in a great location!

The property was absolutely clean, well organise and well equipped with everything a traveler needs

The staff were really helpful and supportive if you needed anything and fun to talk to, You can meet someone crazy wild people and have amazing time

More choice for breakfast would have been kool but this is not a big deal due to the fact that you are in London and food is every where
