The Avenue Hotel, Copenhagen

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. Everything was excellent — the hotel was spotless, very well maintained, and the service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were attentive, professional, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, very central and convenient for exploring the city. A special touch that I really appreciated was the complimentary drinks offered by the hotel: from 5pm to 6pm you could enjoy two glasses of wine, and from 10pm to 11pm they also offered spirits or cocktails. This added a lovely extra to the overall experience.

I was travelling with children, and while the stay was great overall, I think it would be even better if the hotel had a dedicated area or some facilities for kids.

Very nice hotel and trendy with good parking abilities. We slept like babies in a lovely room without noice from the city. The personnel are great.

Lovely room, tastefully decorated (love the green theme!), comfy beds, great bathroom and everything you may need for a comfortable stay - fantastic toiletries, hairdryer, kettle, tea and coffee selection, safe...., breakfast was amazing and very unique, all fresh and organic. 10 stars!!!! Free tasting wine / spirits hour is a great addition to the service :-). Location was fantastic in terms of the proximity to the Metro station and getting to the airport but perhaps a bit further from the main sites usually listed in the guidebooks/ galeries, however, that didn't bother me as I love walking :-)

Location and parking. Really nice personell. Very trendy and chic. Nice to get a free drink before going to bed. Excellent sleep to in a lovely bed.

You get great communication via WhatsApp with hotel prior to your arrival day. Didn't arrive till midnight and were still able to get a beer and wine in the reception area after a long day travelling. They have a great IPA on tap. Breakfast area was set out really well and had good food options. Lots of natural light. Tea and coffee was bought to your table in pots. Room was very modern especially the bathroom. The hotel is a little out the centre buy just a short walk from Forum metro station meaning you have a direct link to the airport and easy connections for all over Copenhagen. We found the location perfect. Secure Left luggage facility at hotel so were able to leave luggage after checkout and come back and collect it later in the day.

Not a lot of natural light in the room and the lighting albeit being modern didn't really help light the room. There was a skylight window in the room and because of its angle it made the rain outside seem like it was twice as bad. We thought it was torrential outside given the rain hitting the window but when we went outside it was only spotting. Not a lot of storage space for clothes in room. Apart from those small things everything was perfect with this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Very stylish hotel, comfortable room, cleaning was done every day. Great attention to detail and I loved the breakfast. Really good value for money as well.

Wi-fi was a bit annoying - had to sign up to the newsletter every single time I had to connect. But it’s a very small inconvenience!

Beautiful interiors with all necessary comforts. The rooms were large and well thought out.

Very good location, close to bus stops and metro station is only a 6 minute walk away. Room spotlessly clean. We overlooked the inner courtyard, it was pretty quiet. Really enjoyed the wine hour each evening, a really lovely idea. Would have liked to have taken advantage of the nightcap hour but we were always so tired we were in bed by 9! Good selection at breakfast.

The small double was exactly that, small, but we chose to go for that so we can’t complain. And we were only in our room to sleep so it was fine except that we were struggling for places to put our things. We managed though. The bathroom was lovely.

For some reason the room was a little dusty (in the air probably because of the curtains), the breakfast is nice but the choice is too small and a little weird (there was few types of bread but only with a basic salad and a scrambled egg with a little sausage, adding salmon or more types of meat can help)

Friendly staff. Great promos for guests, free wine 5 to 6. Spirits 10 till 11 Coffee available in the morning

What's not to like?

We have booked small room and it was really small :-) but big enough to stay for couple of nights. Very friedly staff at reception solved my issue with lost computer charger offering the charging possibililty on spot. Nice and fresh breakfast. We have enjoyed free wine happy hour in afternoon!

Too narrow entrance to the hotels parking lot inside the atrium. We need to fold the backmirrors to fit in.

Very friendly staffs, very comfortable bed and quite and well-designed room with decent size in Copenhagen. Delicious breakfast. Ample parking lot - it is paid but worth it. Several vintage stores and bakeries nearby. Easy access to metro or buses to go to different area of Copenhagen. If I visit Copenhagen, I will definitely come back

very minor, but the hotel name (English version - Boutique Hotel Hans) is not searchable via google map or Rejsebillet. I had to use address instead.

The basic room is quite small, but still definitely okay for 2 People who plan to be outside most of the day!

Relatively new hotel. Everything was spotless. Customer service was excellent. The free glass of wine each evening was a lovely touch. Breakfast was good. A bit more variety in hot options would have been nice but there was still plenty of choice. Location was great. It's about a 20/25 min walk into Nyhavn.

Room was a little on the small size but enough for a couple. We were on the top floor so the eves of the roof did make getting into bed a challenge! Water from the shower did flood most of the bathroom.

Clean, quiet and modern. Newly renovated and a functional, sleek vibe. Lovely staff, free wine hours and easy transport links to central Copenhagen. I would highly recommend Hotel Hans to any guest who wishes to have a good Copenhagen experience!

Not a single thing.

The location of the hotel is good, newly renovated, very modern, Scandinavian style. Metro just 5 min walking distance. Room was spacious. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety to choose, organic oriented selection and option to enjoy prosecco. The setup of breakfast was nice, meaning small portions of selection was prepared to combine the plate as you like. Wine happy hour and nightcap were nice bonus.

Bathroom floor was not warm, it was not possible to adjust the room temperature. Breakfast was identical for three mornings in the row, just to keep in mind incase longer stay. While checking in and checking details, staff did not notice that it was my BD.

Very clean, modern look. Great sized bathroom, room a bit small, but very comfy bed. Good breakfast, good location. Very pleasant staff. The night cap service was a great way to end the day.

Coffee was cold 2 days and had to ask for another pot. Boiled eggs were cold but I appreciate it’s difficult to keep them warm after cooking. Pillows too soft hand towels too small

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and had every imaginable comfort. It is well-designed and the staff is exceptional. I would highly recommend it!

It is not so close to the city center, however it is well connected by public transport and still walkable (20-30 min walk from Copenhagen center)

What a fabulous hotel in a fabulous area ! We couldn’t fault it. Lovely staff, great breakfast and the wine and nightcap hours were such an added bonus and a real treat. We would definitely come again and Copenhagen in the snow is great.

A great place with great staff

We got it for discounted price and for that it was exceptionally great value for money. Awesome breakfast, really good coffee, room was spacious and clean, we expected tit to be unwelcoming due to design concept, but it was not. Walking distance to the Copenhagen center and really close to metro station. The free drinks was also interesting concept... Possibility to park (well, paid, but it's Copenhagen)

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room is beautiful, private and well soundproofed, staff is really nice, the wine hour is a nice touch and the breakfast is really good

Clean, easy to access, not very spacious either room or bathroom, nice personnel.

Could be more warmer inside rooms (we travel in winter at many celsius below 0) - they have room temp centralized control and you cannot made adjustments.
