I would like to sincerely thank all the staff of Steigenberger Hotel El Tahrir Cairo for the excellent hospitality and outstanding service during our stay. Everything has been truly wonderful — the professionalism, cleanliness, comfort, atmosphere, and the warm welcome made our experience in Cairo even more special. I would also like to express special appreciation to Mr. Magdy for his kindness, professionalism, and the way he handled everything with great care and respect. He was extremely helpful and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel location is perfect, the service quality is excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you once again for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family and hope to visit again in the future.

The hotel staff were brilliant: friendly, helpful and professional throughout, including reception, housekeeping, doormen and breakfast. The hotel was super clean. Great breakfast choices including gluten-free. The team were helpful throughout our stay, including returning a charger we had left in the room after we checked out and arranging a last minute taxi to the airport. A sincere thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable.

Perhaps the hotel lobby looks a tad dated.

I would HIGHLY recommend the hotel. People are super kind and helpful. Constantly checking on us, they gave us our bedroom earlier than check-in. Everybody was super nice, and breakfast was AMAZING.

Noisy aircondition, heavy mattress, very thick pillow. Too expensive for this period. We made the reservation before US IRAN warfare for almost 200 euros per night and now is at 120 euros. Meaning a very large profit percentage.

Barking dogs in the streets outside the hotel. Sleep disrupted throughout the night. These wild dogs need to be euthanaised.

Room is adequate and the price was reasonable.

For breakfast, the variety was great, but actually taste was somewhat disappointing. People vary in their tastebuds, but even conceding that point, the food quality was not great and taste was too much toward bland and salty. Also, even though the location is in the center, in Cairo you cannot really cross streets because there are rarely traffic lights and pedestrian crossing. Therefore even though a great museum is just across the street, you will need to take a taxi to get there. It is such a shame that Cairo is a very difficult city to take a walk in. Not the hotel's problem, just a comment.

Absolutely a great hotel to stay while in Cairo. The top best for me is the tasty food and the variety you get. Excellent hosts. Every staff looks after you. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality.

Clean, good food, nice restaurant, friendly staff, good service, nice rooms, AC worked well, pool and gym included., free water available.

Extreme tipping culture making every interaction feel transactional. Even though bottled water is complimentary, we were not informed that we needed to call a different number for it then for the room service and therefore received water that we had to pay for. Same story at the pool.

The location is superb and I'm glad I got to stay here twice! (I had a trip to Luxor in between). I loved the convenience of being in the heart of the downtown. The hotel itself was comfortable and relaxing, and the hotel staff were all so accommodating! Wifi was good too. I loved their breakfast buffet too, it had some variety.

Very central but still feels secure and calm—once you’re inside it’s like a private retreat. Rooms are nicely done (a bit small but fine). The chefs were great with the kids—always sorting chips at breakfast and dinner which really helped. Mostafa was excellent, very accommodating with our slightly chaotic group.

Lobby music on Thursday/Friday nights was quite loud—understandable for the vibe, but not ideal if you want quiet. Also some confusion at dinner with being asked to pay despite having a deposit with reception, though it was eventually sorted.

Best hotel to stay in central Cairo! The staff, the service, the facilities, the incredible breakfast and for the price we paid it was the best choice.

rooms could be slightly bigger for a family but they have junior suites that they offer at very good prices as well.

The hotel was in a central location and incredibly clean. However the main callout is the phenomenal staff. They couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful in every way. Five stars go to them!

It was an absolute vacation. Everyone from the reception, concierge, restaurant to housekeeping were very hospitable and warm. Essam at the reception checked us in swiftly and was very warm and welcoming. Mohammed at the concierge assisted to arrange a hotel wheelchair for our son who had injured himself. Hotel is modern and clean. Breakfast spread is huge with a great variety. Location is central and close to many restaurants, Tahrir square and the old Egyptian museum. Definitely recommend
