Amazing location Rooms were excellent

I travelled to Budapest with a group from my cultural association in Marbella. I loved the location of the hotel. The historical background of the hotel. I will definitely stay with you again. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The amenities were excellent and I appreciated the lack of traffic sounds and the blackout blinds.

The rooms could be a little bigger.

It’s stunning, I was blown away.

The carpet upstairs and the plastic wall trim created a static shock every time I walked down the hallways.

Lovely hotel in great location. In walking distance of the key historical sites in Pest and also City Park and zoo. Also easy to walk to bus station for bus to Buda Castle District and lots of restaurants and bars in close proximity. Very useful to have a fridge in the room.

There wasn’t anything that my wife and I didn’t like about the hotel.

The staff were amazing. We had a problem with our heaters the first night, and they immediately provided an electrical heater. And it was my birthday next morning, they sent us chocolates and drink, and celebrated my birthday :)

The hotel was beautiful, the design, was really something else the location was good 20min walking from the city center and next to the hotel you had a lot of restaurants and bars and shops/ The gym was great small but with everything you need and open early in the morning and late at night which is rare. The sauna was so good I felt wonderful after the gym and sauna in the morning. The breakfast was also good diverse with lots of vegetarian and healthy options.

The room was a bit small and on a double bed I had two small blankets which is an absolute nightmare !!!

The hotel had a lovely relaxed ambience and it was very quiet at night.

This hotel is fantastic! We truly felt like we had found our very own ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’! From the moment we walked through the door, we entered a world of tranquility with such a relaxed atmosphere and great ambience. The staff were very accommodating and kind. Our train was delayed so we only arrived just before midnight, so I telephoned to check and was told all is fine and not to worry. The breakfast is outstanding and location excellent. We would love to come back.

The style of the property meant we couldn’t open a window, but this wasn’t a problem.

The building is wonderful, the rooms were comfortable, clean and the air conditioning was great. The black out blind was great and high ceilings very impressive. The luggage storage on the lower ground floor was brilliant with large individual lockers.

The only small issue was the face of having to pay for water.

Room was small but space was well organized. Hotel located just off main parts of the city, within (somewhat lengthy) walking distance Hotel offers a variety of supplies- plug converter, night light - that were helpful

Since it was our anniversary, they gave us a room with the skylight window and provided a small surprise for us.

The room was a bit small. The bath towels need to be changed.

The hot plate section at breakfast was always cold. Bar closing at 12pm for residents was quite annoying. Bar is way too small with lack of options.

A wonderful stay, a very comfortable room. The staff had no problem fulfilling my requests made during the reservation — I received a quiet room on the top floor. An excellent location, a monumental historic building, and on top of that, a sauna!

Room very nice....but very difficult to control temperature...either too warm or quite chilly. Staff did try to help, but we never could seem to regulate it!

The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The room was perfect, when we arrived they had everything for us and they even left my partner a handwritten card and bottle of Prosecco for his 30th birthday. The hotel is very central as well

Friendly staff, excellent location, complementary tea and coffee in the lobby area during the day.

The bathroom was a bit small, I didn't have a place to put my belongings. The sink was part of the room, not in the bathroom. I did not have a seating area( chair, table) in the room. Still the room was well equipped and nicely decorated, I am just used to more practical settings.

We just wished our bed had larger bed covers instead of the two smaller ones but that might have been because of the bed size we chose. Overall, it was comfortable

Lovely big room, very quiet, lots of choice for breakfast. and very handy location for Szecheny Baths!

It was all lovely - the staff couldn’t have been nicer, and very proactive in making sure we had all we needed, including umbrellas!!
