Everything was top notch and the quality of the facility was amazing.

wished the pool was open and the roof lounge open and more vibrant. It was close to 80° during our stay. I was charged for "cork service" to open a bottle of wine at $20. The bottle was bought off site for $15. Seemed a bit much.

Everything was perfect, the staff was so nice, the room was amazing; we arrived early and they did an early check-in for us and even they upgraded our room from standard to premium with a view and this was so nice of them. The location is amazing, it’s very central

My room space was cozy but very small.

Our stay at Hotel Emperador was lovely. The first thing that stands out is the classic luxury and elegant atmosphere of the hotel. Being located on Gran Vía made exploring the city incredibly easy. Regarding the amenities, the breakfast was okay—nothing extraordinary, but certainly sufficient to start the day. We didn't have any major complaints and thoroughly enjoyed the upscale feel of the property. Would definitely recommend it for the location and the views from the rooftop!

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We were celebrating my sisters birthday and they upgraded our rooms. The staff were all friendly and accomodating. The concierge team fantastic and attentive. The Rooms were clean with plenty of light. The rooftop is stunning.

The sofa bed was a bit hard. Might be worth putting a topper down first. Another mirror on top of the desk would have been great. Service was a bit slow at the terrace bar and staff weren't as friendly as the rest of the hotel.

Great location on Gran Via. Ideal to reach attractions and restaurants. Easy metro access. Lovely hotel, Great staff. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. Room well equipped and cleaned daily.

The roof top pool was closed throughout our stay. This was the reason we booked the hotel so that was very disappointing. The booking website did not make this clear.

The location was good, next door to a metro station so very easy to zip around the city plus an easy walk to many places. Close to supermarkets, restaurants, many of the large stores

Our room was on the Gran Via so a little noisy at night even with the double glazing. A bit disappointed we couldn’t access the full rooftop view, we knew the pool was closed during our stay but didn’t realise the top viewing platform was as well .

The breakfast was excellent and plenty of choices. The location was excellent for shopping and also for visiting museums.

Great hotel on Gran Via, perfectly located for a weekend stay, with super friendly and helpful staff and a clean, charmingly old‑school atmosphere.

Location was very central and very close to 3 Metro stations....only 1 change needed from Plaza de Espana station to get to the airport. We were apparently upgraded, didn't it feel like that as room and bathroom were pretty basic.

Toiletries were provided in very small plastic bottles, essentially very basic. No bath towels provided for Day 1 but Reception staff very apologetic when advised. As the weather was very hot, it was disappointing the rooftop pool doesn't open until May.

Central location near a Metro station, easy journey to and from the airport. On the busy Gran Via, but no noise in the room. Very clean and nice flowers in the foyer. Nice breakfast selection. Excellent staff.

The swimming pool wasn’t open which i understand is out of season however the weather was 25 degrees and the pool being open would have been a lovely benefit

Loved the location of this hotel! Excellent for shopping and walkable to all the main attractions in Madrid. Staff went above and beyond by letting us in our room early due to my daughter getting sick on the car ride from the airport! Rooftop bar is a must see as well.

This property is fabulous! It has a gorgeous lobby with friendly staff. The rooftop pool area was under renovations, but the rooftop bar was open and the views were incredible! Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Our twin room was huge. It is one of the biggest twin rooms I have had in Europe. It was equipped with hotel slippers and robes. The bathroom and shower were huge by European standards. The huge closet was a bonus. We had city views of Gran Via, which was bustling all night but the noise was not a problem with the windows left open. It is conveniently located near many Metro stations, restaurants and wonderful shopping! We did a Viator day trip and the pick up was literally around the corner from the hotel. I highly recommend Madrid and this hotel. The location was awesome for our 5 day itinerary!

Hotel Emperador has a great location - no match! Located in Centro, the hotel provides access to all major tourist spots in Madrid.

The hotel rooms were a bit run down and could have been cleaner. The linen had marks. Notwithstanding, the location advantage stands!
